Minimum System Requirements
We recommend that your computer be enabled with the following settings.
Cookies:
Your browser should be enabled to allow GAY.COM to set cookies so you can access personals, chat, member center, and other personalized features.
How to enable cookies
Internet Explorer: Open an IE browser, click on Tools menu, then Internet Options. Press Default button on Security and Privacy tabs.
Firefox: Open a Firefox browser, click on Tools menu, then Options. On Privacy menu select Allow sites to set cookies.
Safari: Open a Safari browser, click on Safari menu, then Preferences. On Security menu, select Only from sites you navigate to.
Netscape: Open a Netscape browser, click on Edit menu, then Preferences. Click on Privacy category, then Cookies. Select Enable all cookies.
AOL: Sign onto AOL and go to Keyword Browser Settings, then click on Internet Explorer settings and follow steps for Internet Explorer above.
Java:
Java software is required to access some areas of GAY.COM, such as chat and private messenger. Java software is free and can be downloaded from www.java.com. Once Java is downloaded and installed, ensure your browser has enabled Java.
JavaScript:
JavaScript is also required to use many parts of GAY.COM. Please see below to ensure it is enabled on your computer.
How to enable Java and JavaScript
Internet Explorer: Open an IE browser, click on Tools menu, then Internet Options. Press Default button on Security and Privacy tabs.
Firefox: Open a Firefox browser, click on Tools menu, then Options. On Content menu, select Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
Safari: Open a Safari browser, click on Safari menu, then Preferences. On Security menu, select Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
Netscape: Open a Netscape browser, click on Edit menu, then Preferences. Click on Advanced category and select Enable Java.

Media Players:
Some areas of GAY.COM require a media player to be installed on your computer to view videos and listen to music. To download these players, see below for information. If you already have a media player installed, verify that it is compatible with these minimum requirements below.

Troubleshooting
If you are using a recommended browser and have satisfied the minimum system requirements, but are unable to access GAY.COM, please try these troubleshooting tips.
Clear browser cache
Internet Explorer: Open an IE browser, click on Tools menu, then Internet Options. Press Delete files button on General tab.
Firefox: Open a Firefox browser, click on Tools, then Privacy menu, then Cache tab. Press Clear cache button.
Safari: Open a Safari browser, click on Safari menu, then Empty Cache.
Netscape: Open a Netscape browser, click on Edit menu, then Preferences. Choose Advanced menu, then Cache, and press Clear Memory Cache button.
AOL: Sign onto AOL and go to Keyword Browser Settings, then click on Internet Explorer settings and follow steps for Internet Explorer above.
Adjust security settings
Users of security programs such as Norton or McAfee Internet Security may need to ensure they are allowing access to GAY.COM. Refer to the users guide of the program for additional information on changing these settings.
Pop-up blockers
Pop-up blocking software may prevent you from accessing some areas of GAY.COM, such as chat and private messenger. To prevent any blocked access, add www.gay.com to the allowed list of websites in your pop-up blocking program.
Update software
PC users can update software using the Windows Update tool on their computer, or by going to www.windowsupdate.com.
Mac users can update software using the Software Update tool located under the Apple menu or by going to www.apple.com/support/downloads/.
Restart computer
Turn off the computer using the shutdown or power button or recommended procedure as outlined in the users guide of your computer.
